Lanthanide-induced shifts in the carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of ketones

Abstract

Contact contributions can be significant to the Eu(dpm)3 and Pr(dpm)3-induced shifts of α-carbon atoms in the 13C n.m.r. spectra of ketones: Yb(dpm)3 is an excellent shift reagent for 13C n.m.r. structural studies.
