Some helium autoionization states and the stabilization method

Abstract

The possible application of the MO variational method used for calculations of resonance state energies in He– and H–2 is examined for the case of resonance states of two-electron atoms. As an illustration, the energies of the first three 1P0 resonance states of He are calculated and the results discussed.
