Paramagnetic hydrido- and chloro-complexes of iron(I)

Abstract

FeH(dp)2(dp = Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) has been isolated from the reaction of FeHCI(dp)2 or [FeH(dp)2]BPh4 with sodium, and FeCI(dp)2 from the reaction of FeCI2(dp) with stoicheiometric amounts of sodium in the presence of free diphosphine.
