Viscosities of sodium chloride + zinc chloride melts

Abstract

Viscosity measurements have been made in the NaCl + ZnCl2 system over the temperature range from the liquidus to 500°C. The non-Arrhenius behaviour is examined using the Adam–Gibbs configurational entropy model. Comparison is made with the electrical conductance results.
