A new disproportionation of nitric oxide in its reaction with Co(PPh3)3(NO)

Abstract

Nitric oxide reacts with Co(PPh3)3(NO) under mild conditions to give a nitrosylnitrito-complex of cobalt, Co(NO2)(PPh3)(NO)2 and N2.
