The reactions of the anion [(π-C5H5)W(CO)3]– with a variety of fluorocarbons have shown that its nucleophilic power lies between those of [(π-C5H5)Mo(CO)3]– and [Mn(CO5)]–. Some new fluorocarbon complexes of tungsten are described, and their spectra discussed.
