High molecular weight poly(diaminophosphazenes) with mixed substituents

Abstract

A new series of high molecular weight poly(diaminophosphazenes), [NP(NEt2)(NR2)]n or [NP(NEt2)(NHR)]n, has been prepared by the interaction of poly(dichlorophosphazene) with diethylamine, followed by treatment with a second amine: the polymers are stable, transparent, flexible or elastomeric materials.
