Cobalt, nickel, and copper complexes of the monoximes of some substituted cyclohexane-1,2-diones

Abstract

The monoximes of cyclohexane-1,2-dione and the 3-methyl, 4-methyl, and 4-t-butyl substituted cyclohexane-1,2-diones have been used to prepare complexes of divalent cobalt, nickel, and copper.

The i.r. and electronic spectra and magnetic moments of these complexes show that the metal atoms are six co-ordinate.
