Oxy-complexes and their vibrational spectra

Abstract

The vibrational spectra of a number of monomeric oxy-complexes of the form (MOnX6–n)x(n= 2, 3, 4, and 6) have been measured, and also the spectra of dinuclear species involving one or two bridging oxygen atoms. The factors influencing the structures of such complexes are discussed.
