An improved end-point for the determination of fluoride with thorium nitrate

Abstract

The end-point for the titrimetric determination of fluoride with thorium nitrate has been improved by the use of methylthymol blue indicator. Up to 10 mg of fluoride can be determined in a solution buffered with glycine-perchlorate at pH 3·35.
