Thermodynamics of binary solutions. Part 3.—Heats of mixing of aniline in several polar solvents

Abstract

This paper gives the results of calorimetric measurements on the heats of mixing at 25°C of solutions of aniline in methylene dichloride, chloroform, methyl alcohol, formamide, bromobenzene, acetone and pyridine. The two systems aniline + acetone and aniline + pyridine are exothermic and the remaining ones are endothermic.
