Sorption-diffusion in heterogeneous systems. Part 2.—Quantitative solutions for uptake rates

Abstract

Generalized sorption kinetics are presented for the case of constant external boundary concentration, applicable to porous sorbents of cylindrical and spherical geometry, for a wide range of properties (porosity, diffusivity, and equilibrium sorbate-sorbent characteristics).
