The reactivity of organophosphorus compounds. Part XXII. Preparation of diethyl trichloromethylphosphonite and diethyl dichloromethylphosphonate

Abstract

Diethyl trichloromethylphosphonite has been prepared from trichloromethyldichlorophosphine and ethanol in the presence of base, and some of its reactions have been investigated. Diethyl dichloromethylphosphonate has been obtained by reaction of triethyl phosphite with diethyl trichloromethylphosphonate in hexanol.
