Triazoles. Part VIII. 1,2,4-Triazole-3-sulphonic acids

Abstract

Free 1,2,4-triazole-3-sulphonic acids have been prepared by oxidation of the corresponding thiols with potassium permanganate or, preferably, by treatment of sulphonyl chlorides with ethanol.
