The Mössbauer effect in tin(II) compounds. Part I. An interpretation of the chemical shifts of normal tin(II) compounds

Abstract

Crystal field effects are suggested as a possible explanation of the anomalous chemical shifts of tin(II) oxides and fluorides, and a value for the chemical shift of tin(III) is obtained.
