Ultrasonic studies of electrolyte solutions. Part II. Compressibilities of electrolytes

Abstract

Adiabatic compressibilities have been calculated, from ultrasonic velocity measurements, for solutions of inorganic electrolytes in water, methanol, and ethanol. Isothermal and partial molal compressibilities have been derived from the data for aqueous solutions.
