Strong metal–support interaction in niobia-modified rhodium catalysts

Abstract

An Nb2O5-modified Rh/SiO2 catalyst (5.7 wt% as Nb2O5) exhibited strong metal–support interaction behaviour in ethane hydrogenolysis studies, the interaction being as strong as that in the Rh/Nb2O5 system.
