Fabrication of hierarchically structured titania thin films via combining nano-imprint lithography with block copolymer assisted sol–gel templating

Abstract

Combination of nano-imprint lithography with block copolymer assisted sol–gel chemistry is used to fabricate large area mesoporous titania films with additional superstructure in the sub-micrometer range. The final film exhibits a hierarchical structure of narrow channels concurrent with a bicontinuous nanostructure with mesopores of roughly 30 nm.
