N-Doped carbon nanotubes decorated with Fe/Ni sites to stabilize lithium metal anodes

Abstract

Uniform FeNi alloy nanoparticles were loaded on N-doped carbon nanotubes, and resulted in enhanced intrinsic activity and stabilization of surface lithiophilic sites. The strong synergetic effect stabilized lithium metal anodes for a prolonged lifespan.
