Structural studies in the bruceol system

Abstract

Single-crystal X-ray structure determinations of the chloro- and iodo-acetates of (–)-bruceol have been carried out, confirming the structure of (–)-bruceol and allowing a probable assignment of absolute configuration. The structure of (±)-deoxybruceol has also been determined.
