1α-Hydroxyalliacolide, a sesquiterpenoid metabolite of Marasmius alliaceus. X-Ray molecular structure of 1α-hydroxyalliacolide

Abstract

1α-Hydroxyalliacolide has been isolated from Marasmius alliaceus and its structure established by a combination of X-ray crystallographic and spectroscopic methods. The 13C n.m.r. spectrum of alliacolide has been reassigned.
