Ruthenium-catalyzed selective N,N-diallylation- and N,N,O-triallylation of free amino acids

Abstract

Selective N,N-diallylation and N,N,O-triallylation of free amino acids in the presence of catalytic amounts of RuCp*(MeCN)3PF6 is reported. The crucial influence of the solvent makes these allylation reactions selectively possible.
