A tetraamido isophthaloyl-based macrocyclic calcium chloride and strontium chloride tritopic receptor

Abstract

Several new macrocyclic di-, tetra-, hexa- and octa-amido macrocycles have been synthesized and their complexation properties are reported with Group 1 and 2 metal chlorides, and also with tetrabutylammonium tetrafluoroborate, phosphorus hexafluoride and halide salts.
