Synthesis of mesoporous magnetic Fe3O4@carbon nanofibers utilizing in situ polymerized polybenzoxazine for water purification

Abstract

A novel and scalable strategy was developed for the synthesis of one dimensional mesoporous polybenzoxazine-based Fe3O4@carbon nanofibers by using an in situpolymerization method, which exhibit an extremely high surface area of 1885 m2 gāˆ’1, as well as efficient adsorption for organic dyes and facilely magnetic separation property.
