3,4-Methylenedithiopyrrole: convenient synthesis and application as a novel monomer for electroactive polymers

Abstract

3,4-Methylenedithiopyrrole was synthesized by a straightforward method and used as a novel monomer for the preparation of corresponding electroactive polymers which display low oxidation potential and electrochromic behavior.
