Efficient and Mild Regeneration of Carbonyl Compounds from Oximes and Hydrazones by Manganese(III) Porphyrin–Periodate

Abstract

The periodate–manganese tetraphenylporphyrin, Mn(tpp)/IO4, catalytic system is efficient in regenerating the parent carbonyl compounds from oximes and phenylhydrazones at room temperature.
