The synthesis of some 4-hydroxy- and 4-methoxy-naphthylalanines

Abstract

The synthesis is described of a series of 4-hydroxy- and 4-methoxy-1-naphthylalanines and some 3-chloro- and α-methyl derivatives. None of these compounds had appreciable tyrosine hydroxylase inhibitory activity.
