Thermodynamic considerations in co-ordination. Part III. The copper(II) and nickel(II) complexes of 1,2-diaminoethane, 1,3-diaminopropane, 4(5)-aminomethylimidazole, 4(5)-2′-aminoethylimidazole, 2-aminomethylpyridine, and 2-2′-aminoethylpyridine

Abstract

The thermodynamic functions of the copper(II) and nickel(II) compiexes of 1,2-diaminoethane, 1,3-diaminopropane, 4(5)-aminomethylimidazole, 4(5)-2′-aminoethylimidazole, 2-aminomethylpyridine, and 2–2′-aminoethylpyridine have been determined by combining the results of calorimetric studies with those obtained by pH-potentiometry at 25·0° and l= 0·30M in ClO4.
