SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Thiocyanate salts of three isomeric hexamethyltetra-azacyclotetradecadienenickel(II) cations (an interconvertible pair with trans configuration and one with cis arrangement of the double bond) are described. The infrared spectra and other physical properties indicate hydrogen bonding between the co-ordinated secondary amine groups of the complex cation and the thiocyanate ion.
