One-pot multicomponent synthesis of highly functionalized bio-active pyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole and benzylpyrazolyl coumarin derivatives using ZrO2 nanoparticles as a reusable catalyst

Abstract

A facile one-pot multicomponent protocol for the synthesis of bio-active pyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole and benzylpyrazolyl coumarin derivatives has been demonstrated using ZrO2 nanoparticles as a catalyst at room temperature. The reactions are very fast and high-yielding. The catalytic activity and tetragonal plane of the ZrO2 nanoparticles remained unchanged after the 10th cycle.
