Scandium alkyl complex with phosphinimino-amine ligand: Synthesis, structure and catalysis on ethylene polymerization

Abstract

The THF-free scandium dialkyl complex LSc(CH2SiMe3)2 (L = (2,6-iPr2C6H3)NC(Me)CHPPh2N(2,6-Me2C6H3)) bearing the phosphinimino-amine ligand was prepared, which under the activation of [Ph3C][B(C6F5)4] initiated the polymerization of ethylene with high activity.
