1,10-Phenanthroline platinum(ii) complex: a simple molecule for efficient G-quadruplex stabilization

Abstract

Two simple complexes [Pt(phen)2](PF6)2 and [Pt(bpy)2](PF6)2 exhibit high stabilization potential for G-quadruplex DNA with [Pt(phen)2](PF6)2 possessing higher capability due to its greater planarity.
