Novel dicarbonyl and carbonylnitrosyl tris(μ-triazenide) dirhodium complexes

Abstract

The first neutral, tribridged [Rh2]3+ triazenide complex, [(OC)Rh(μ-RNNNR)3Rh(CO)] (R = C6H4Me-p), reacts with NO gas to give the novel nitrosyl [(OC)Rh(μ-RNNNR)3Rh(NO)] with an [Rh2]4+ core linked to NO.
