A novel coordination polymer containing puckered rhombus grids

Abstract

The polymeric complex [Ni(spcp)2]n (spcp = 4-sulfanylmethyl-4′-phenylcarboxylate pyridine) with puckered rhombus grids of dimensions 11.72 × 11.09 Å was obtained from the reaction of Ni(OAc)2·4H2O with Na(spcp) by solvothermal methods.
