The synthesis and complexation of a bis(phosphavinyl)tin compound

Abstract

The first bis(phosphavinyl)tin and stannadiphosphabicyclo[2.1.0]pentane compounds, readily prepared from the reaction of a phosphavinyl Grignard reagent with SnMe2Cl2, have been used as ligands in the formation of two crystallographically characterised complexes.
