SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Raman and i.r. spectra of M4[U(NCS)8](M = NEt4 or Cs) have been measured on the solids and their solutions in nitromethane and acetonitrile in the νCN region. These data suggest that in these solvents the anion has an antiprismatic (D4d) configuration.
