Metal-ion catalysis in some reactions of hexacyanoferrate(III). Part III. The oxidation of hydroxylamine

Abstract

The oxidation of hydroxylamine by hexacyanoferrate(III) is efficiently catalysed by (edta)iron(III) and by aquocopper(II). The pentacyanoaquoferrates and other secondary reaction products are not significant catalysts.
