Light-driven low-temperature syngas production from CH3OH and H2O over a Pt@SrTiO3 photothermal catalyst†
Abstract
Under light irradiation, a Pt@SrTiO3 photothermal catalyst can realize efficient steam reforming of CH3OH and H2O at a temperature as low as 150 °C. After 15 min of light irradiation, an optimal catalyst achieved a high methanol conversion of 95.5% and a selectivity of 94.4% for syngas production.
