Synthesis and catalytic application of alumina@SAPO-11 composite via the in situ assembly of silicoaluminophosphate nanoclusters at an alumina substrate

Abstract

A novel alumina@SAPO-11 composite with a hierarchical pore structure was successfully prepared via the in situ assembly and crystallization of silicoaluminophosphate nanoclusters at the surface of an alumina substrate. The material shows enhanced catalytic performance in transforming n-octane into mono- and di-branched isomers with higher octane numbers.
