Multicomponent crystals of nitrofurazone – when more is less

Abstract

Multicomponent crystal formation of nitrofurazone, a conformationally flexible drug that is capable of forming various supramolecular synthons, was challenging when coformers were selected based on popular crystal engineering principles.
