Effect of particle size distribution of UiO-67 nano/microcrystals on the adsorption of organic dyes from aqueous solution

Abstract

UiO-67 nano/microcrystals with different particle size distributions (PSDs) were successfully obtained by a simple solvothermal method. The PSD evolution of the UiO-67 nano/microcrystals from non-uniform to uniform was achieved by adjusting the amount of the coordination modulator, acetic acid. The nano/microparticles show PSD-dependent adsorption properties towards toxic compounds.
