Tailoring the morphology of Co-doped MoS2 for enhanced hydrodeoxygenation performance of p-cresol

Abstract

A morphology tailoring strategy for the synthesis of Co-doped MoS2 nanostructures was realized through simply tuning the alkaline solutions in a solvothermal sulfidation reaction. The as-prepared Co-doped MoS2 nanoflowers exhibited an excellent p-cresol hydrodeoxygenation performance, which could be attributed to the abundant exposed edges and the synergistic effect between Co atoms and MoS2 nanostructures.
