Solvent-free synthesis of new magnesium phosphate–oxalates displaying diverse framework topologies

Abstract

A series of open-framework magnesium phosphate–oxalates were prepared for the first time under solvent-free conditions. The pore apertures of these compounds range from a small 8-membered ring (8 MR) to large 12 MR and extra large 16 MR and 20 MR. Topological analyses reveal that they display ins, pcu, mmt, dia, fsh, fsc, and ths networks.
