The first uranyl–lanthanide heterometallic complexes: metal–organic frameworks with DOTA and oxalato ligands

Abstract

Reaction of uranyl and lanthanide nitrates with DOTA (H4L) under hydrothermal conditions gave the first uranyl–lanthanide heterometallic complexes, [(UO2)2Ln(L)(C2O4)(OH)(H2O)]·3H2O [Ln = Gd (1) or Eu (2)].
