Self-assembling construction of a novel nanoscale heptacobalt complex with an S-shaped folding

Abstract

A nanoscale heptacobalt complex with an S-shaped folding is created by self-assembly from small building components, trapping the labile [Co(dchpy)2]2 units that are impossible to be isolated as a monomer.
