Single-step self-assembly to uniform fiber-like core-crystalline block copolymer micelles

Abstract

This work presents a simple approach to access uniform fiber-like micelles by single-step crystalization-driven co-self-assembly of a polyferrocenyldimethylsilane (PFS) block copolymer with a trace of a PFS homopolymer. The length of micelles in the μm range could be controlled by changing the amount of homopolymer in the mixture.
