Low-surface-area nitrogen doped carbon nanomaterials for advanced sodium ion batteries

Abstract

A low-surface-area nitrogen-doped carbon nanomaterial was prepared via a facile annealing method, which shows good Na-ion storage ability (334 mA g−1) and coulombic efficiency due to its mixed charge–discharge mechanism and unique structural features.
