A biomimetic mercury(ii)-gated single nanochannel

Abstract

A simple biomimetic mercury(II)-gated single nanochannel has been developed by incorporating a mercury(II) responsive single stranded DNA (ssDNA) with thyminethymine (T–T) bases into a single polymetic nanochannel.
