Abstract

A Suzuki–Miyaura coupling of α-pivaloxyl ketonesviaNi-catalyzed sp3 C–O activation to produce α-aryl ketones is developed. This study offers a convenient method to construct α-arylation products from readily available α-hydroxyl carbonyl compounds.
