Abstract

The reaction of chromocene, Cp₂Cr, with dilithiated 2,3-diphenylguanidine [(PhNH)₂C [double bond, length as m-dash] NH = L²H₃] gives the novel, quadruply-bonded tetraanion [Cr₂(L²H)₄]⁴⁻.
