A quadruply-bonded [Cr2(guanidinate)4]4tetraanion

Abstract

The reaction of chromocene, Cp2Cr, with dilithiated 2,3-diphenylguanidine [(PhNH)2C[double bond, length as m-dash]NH = L2H3] gives the novel, quadruply-bonded tetraanion [Cr2(L2H)4]4.
